What is ABS Braking System and Working Principle

Dec 5, 2015

ABS is the abbreviation of Anti - Lock braking System  in English! But  do you know what is ABS braking system? According to statistics, when the car encountered some conditions on the brakes, more than ninety percent of drivers tend to put the brakes stepped to the end, to a screeching halt, However, at this time of the car is very easy to slip and skid, it is easy to cause traffic  accident! So, for this reason, the car experts have developed with ABS such a set of Anti-skid braking transpose! Next let’s  explore what is ABS braking system and its working principle.

ABS braking system working principle is mounted on  the wheel speed sensor to collect the four wheel speed signal, sent to the electronic control unit calculates the speed of each wheel, and then calculate the deceleration of the vehicle and the wheel slip ratio. The ABS electronic control unit according to the calculated parameters, through the hydraulic control unit adjust the brake pressure of braking process, achieve the goal of prevent wheel lock, so as  to ensure the safety of the vehicle. And in every time the ignition switch on, ABS self-checking automatically, if you find fault, electronic automatic unit will automatically break the ABS function, and light up the ABS warning light, the brake system will be like no ABS braking system work! This can explain clearly what is ABS braking system.

ABS braking system to adjust the braking process mainly has four stages: the relief phase, the holding stage, step-down phase, phase booster! The abs brake system pressure regulating frequency for 2 to 4 cycles per second. Of course, this data shall be models and decide! So, I hope you later in the process of buying a car, don't save money, buy  a vehicle with ABS braking system is an important indicator of safety performance. Hope you understand what is ABS braking system

On the basic of and prepare for car care and maintenance ,and safe driving .
