Do you know the single phase rectifier?And what the difference between single phase rectifier and usual rectifier?Well,maybe the technology of single phase rectifier is more advanced,but put the single phase rectifier aside,now let's talk about the rectifier rather than single phase rectifier.

   Rectifier (English: Rectifier) is a DC AC conversion device, power supply device and it can be used for the detection of radio signals.The rectifier can be composed of a vacuum tube, ignitron, solid silicon semiconductor diode, made of mercury arc etc.. On the contrary,a DC AC power converting device,it is called "inverter" (inverter).

In the standby UPS,it only need to charge the battery,it do not need to load power, it is only the charger. In the double UPS transform, the device is not only for inverter power supply, and to charge the battery, it is known as the rectifier / charger.
The rectifier is a rectifying device, simply means that the exchange (AC) into direct current (DC) device.

   It has two main functions: first, the alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC), filtered supply load or supply inverter; second, to provide charging voltage of battery. Therefore, it also plays a role in the charger.

All classes in the most simple rectifier diode rectifier.In the simplest form, the diode rectifier does not provide any means of controlling the output current and voltage value.In order to apply to the industrial process,the output value must be controlled within a certain range.This kind of control can be accomplished through the application of a machine.As a typical case,a load tap changer is used to control the AC voltage of the primary side of the rectifier transformer,so it is able to control the DC value of the output in a certain range. By introducing a DC current into the reactor, a variable impedance is generated in the circuit. Therefore, the output value can be controlled in a relatively narrow range by controlling the voltage drop across the reactor.
