rice cooker measurements

For all measurements use only the plastic measuring cup included with the rice cooker. To cook less than half the pot of rice , to see whether the normal cooked, if not cooked half-baked or simply boiled (boiled to half jump), it shows a poor temperature control, and to replace it with a new one. Of course, see bottom of the pot is deformed, whether the bottom of the pot and hot plate contact is flat, if not flat, the thermostat will be less than the temperature to jump.Cooking rice has traditionally required constant attention to ensure the rice was cooked properly. Electric rice cookers automate the process by mechanically or electronically controlling heat and timing, thus freeing up a heating element on the cooking range that had to be otherwise occupied for rice cooking.Electric rice cookers automate the process by mechanically or electronically controlling heat and timing, thus freeing up a heating element on the cooking range that had to be otherwise occupied for rice cooking.

Take one cup of rice in a vessel.Rinse the rice to be cooked in a vessel and drain 'only' the water till the water in the vessel is clear. Do this only if you the rice needs rinsing. Some rice varieties are fortified with vitamins / supplements and you may not have to rinse such varieties

Pour 2 cups of cups of water in a pressure cooker and empty the rice containing vessel into it. Check that the water level covers the rice.

Close the lid of the pressure cooker (fitted with rubber gasket) and close till it locks firmly.

Set the cooker on a stove (medium heat) and wait till you see steam escaping from the vent. The time it takes for steam to build up depends on the quantity of rice being cooked and the intensity of heat set on the stove.
